• Ecobox is an automotive application reducing gas emissions, CO2 and fuel consumption from -6% up to -20% (*) on a standard vehicle (without any engine modifications). Considering our instructions, this saving margin depends to vehicle generation, its mileage, engine capacity, number of cylinders, its fuel type (petrol or diesel), engine type (turbo, atmospheric), electrical supply, engine maintenance or any engine troubles.
• Ecobox is homologated EC code, matching EEC norms, all tests validated by UTAC, and is matching ROHS norms.
• Ecobox is easy to fit, just connect the terminals to your battery, on positive and negative poles, then you lock the induction ring around your fuel hose.
• Ecobox is unique, matching almost all kind of vehicles: petrol or diesel, tourism cars & vans - 12 volts battery, and trucks 24 volts battery. But the module is not compatible with LPG installation, carburettors, metallic alimentation fuel hose or rubber hose metallic reinforced.
• Ecobox has unlimited life, as far as you don’t modify or damage the product.

• Ecobox is not providing any results for the first 10 km with a cold engine, due to the fact catalytic exhaust and Lambda sensor are not at their operating temperature. As a matter of fact, this point is well known and published by most Environmental Commissions and EEC.WARNING, if all your trips are less than 10 km, Ecobox won’t satisfy you.
• Ecobox is providing its results with a "passive" driving style and not with an "aggressive" driving style. Obviously, Ecobox is matching its goal over at medium engine rpm. If you expect to get the maximum power from your vehicle, Ecobox won’t make it because you need “to feed” your engine at higher rpm. Most drivers have already adapted their driving style in respect of speed limits.
• Ecobox is an automotive application targeting drivers’ doing most of their mileage on motorways, with trips of more than 20 km, at stabilised speed or stabilised engine rpm during their trips.
  Explanation: Small trips of less than 20 km won’t allow you to measure your gain as the first half of your trip will not be influenced by Ecobox, but the second half will. It means only 50% of your results is achieved, but you will reduce your C02 emissions. In Urban driving, due to bumper to bumper traffic flow and traffic lights your result be consequently lower.
• Ecobox is also matching EURO 4 vehicles.
